Disposable e-cigarettes now banned in Great Britain

In November, the Labour government of Prime Minister Keir Starmer (62) had already introduced a far-reaching smoking ban, thus taking up the goal of a completely smoke-free generation.
Vapes will probably also be illegal in Germany from 2027Before Great Britain, France and Belgium had already declared war on disposable e-cigarettes in Europe. Ireland is also planning similar restrictions.
Suppliers will have to adapt anyway: In February 2027, an EU regulation will come into effect that prohibits the sale of disposable products with batteries that are not easily removable. Disposable vapes will then no longer be legally available in Germany either. In 2022, they were still a best-seller in this country: According to the industry association BfTG, they had a 40 percent share of the e-cigarette market at the time. In the years since, this share has fallen to just 10 percent.
