Jannik Sinner prevails against Alexander Zverev in the Vienna final. However, a guest in the Italian tennis star's box also stands out.
Things are continuing to go well for Jannik Sinner on the sporting front. In his dream final in Vienna against German Alexander Zverev on Sunday, the world number two secured his 22nd title on the ATP Tour. After about two and a half hours, the 24-year-old converted his first match point to win 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 and collected prize money of approximately €500,000.
Opponent Alexander Zverev was nevertheless in good spirits after the narrow final loss to the favorite. At the awards ceremony, the 28-year-old joked about the four-time Grand Slam champion: "Jannik, you're really getting on all of our nerves. Relax. We know you're the best player in the world."

Off the court, however, a guest in Sinner's box caused a stir: Sitting next to Sinner's mother, Siglinde, who watched the final attentively, was Danish model Laila Hasanovic. The 24-year-old is no stranger to the sport: Hasanovic was once in a two-year relationship with former Formula 1 driver Mick Schumacher , son of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher .
Hasanovic has already been spotted in the stands at the tournament in Vienna in recent days – first in a black turtleneck sweater, then the next day in a white blouse and checked blazer. Particularly striking: On Sunday, she sat right next to Sinner's mother, Siglinde. A relationship between Sinner and Hasanovic has been speculated about for some time, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
