If HE doesn't want it anymore: My partner never wants it! When can I start cheating?

What to do if HE suddenly loses interest? When silence, withdrawal, and helplessness jeopardize the relationship, honest answers are needed, says sex counselor Regina Heckert.
For decades, it was said that women were less interested in sex . Nowadays, however, the tables seem to be turning more and more often: Men aren't interested in sex and are withdrawing. An open conversation can help: Is he no longer interested in sex in general, or only when it comes to your shared sexuality?
Maybe there are other ways to get closer again— gentle lovemaking methods that don't require any desire. They relax both of you and strengthen your bond—without any sexual stress. Or would he be willing to try couples counseling together? Or is it conceivable that you could take a lover? Such an open arrangement isn't uncommon.
But if he doesn't want to engage in any of this, it could be a real sign that the relationship is on the rocks. After all, who wants to be sexually neglected forever? Then the only question that remains is: Do you go your separate ways, or do you come to terms with the neglected person getting what they need outside of the relationship?
