Scoot, Wizz Air, and EasyJet have launched new connections from Germany and Austria that may also be of interest to business travelers. An overview:

Since June 3, Scoot , the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has been connecting Vienna with Singapore three times a week. The flight is operated by a Boeing 787-8 with space for 329 passengers in two cabin classes.

Since June 2, Wizz Air has been flying from Dortmund to Craiova, Romania, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The city is located southwest of Bucharest. Since June 2, the airline has also been flying from Friedrichshafen to Belgrade on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Starting August 1, Wizz Air will also be flying from Frankfurt-Hahn to Bucharest on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and starting August 2, the airline will be offering scheduled service to Sibiu, Romania, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. And since mid-April, there have been two nonstop flights per week from Hamburg to Kutaisi, Georgia.

Easjet has been flying daily from Hamburg to Rome-Fiumicino and Milan-Malpensa since the end of March. From Düsseldorf, flights to London are available on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays, as well as to Edinburgh on Tuesdays and Fridays. From June 24, flights to Nice are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
