Cancellations and delays at Copenhagen Airport due to drone sightings

Copenhagen Airport, Denmark's largest, has reopened and begun resuming flight operations hours after several drones were spotted, which have finally left the area.
"Due to last night's closure, we are unfortunately experiencing delays and cancellations of flights to and from Copenhagen Airport (...). Passengers are requested to check with their airline , " the authorities at Copenhagen-Kastrup Airport (CPH) announced just under an hour ago on their X social media account.
Copenhagen Airport reopened just after 1 a.m. after Danish police reported at around 9:40 p.m. in X that " two or three large drones had been seen flying overhead."
Danish police officers remain at the airport working to clarify what happened, Inspector Jakob Hansen told state broadcaster DR. He also announced that they are cooperating with authorities in Oslo, after the Norwegian capital's airport was forced to close for several hours and divert flights for the same reason.
For his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has pointed the finger at Russia as being responsible for these incursions, a claim Hansen has been unable to confirm or deny.
In a post on X about his meeting in New York with the director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva, the Ukrainian president noted that "we are paying special attention to Russia's violations of NATO member states' airspace , including those on September 22 in Copenhagen."
"We exchanged views on the reasons. If there is no firm response from allies, both state and institutional, to the aggressive provocations, Russia will continue them," he added.
