Carnival City, almost ready to receive the Mérida Carnival 2025

MÉRIDA.- This Tuesday, February 25, a tour was given of the Ciudad Carnaval facilities of the Mérida Carnival 2025 , where aspects of the allegorical floats that this year refer to the state's fauna were revealed.

Some of the floats at the Town Hall feature flamingos, toloks, deer and plants and vegetation . The “Amazonian” carnival will also feature floats filled with birds, including a hummingbird , a macaw and a toucan . There will also be a raccoon float, which is not yet ready, but only needs to be assembled .

In the carnival city you can already see the stands installed along the entire route , elements of the Municipal Police already guarding the area, while public services are in charge of lighting the route.

One of the significant changes that this edition will have is the change of route, which will be within the Xmatkuil fairgrounds , starting in the area where the mechanical games are usually installed, to join 50th Street and re-enter the fair right at the bus entrance . The areas for people in wheelchairs are being finished being installed, as is the concert stage.
