Mariano Cúneo Libarona came out to defend Ariel Lijo: "He is respected by all his colleagues, loved and admired"

The Minister of Justice, Mariano Cúneo Libarona , defended Ariel Lijo and his appointment by decree as a member of the Supreme Court and, amidst questions from various political sectors and even businessmen , assured that the judge " is respected by all his colleagues " and that there is no consistent complaint against him.

"He has no pending case. If they speak so badly, why didn't they remove him before? If they speak so badly of him, why didn't these gentlemen report him or find a crime ?" he said forcefully in statements to LN+. Cúneo Libarona praised the controversial federal judge -until Tuesday- from a personal perspective. "He is loved and admired by secretaries and colleagues," he insisted.
