Mendoza hosted the National Meeting of B Corp Leaders 2025

The 2025 National B Corp Meeting took place this Friday in the provincial capital. Leaders from across the country shared experiences to strengthen the B Corp Movement, which seeks to build a new economic system that puts the well-being of people and the planet at the center of its decisions.

Over the course of four hours at the Municipal Museum of Modern Art , the meeting brought together business leaders, representing 15 productive sectors from different regions of the country.

The welcome address was given by Marina Arias, Executive Director of Sistema B Argentina , who thanked those present and highlighted Mendoza 's commitment to new economies. "It's a pleasure to return to Mendoza, which has always been fertile ground for the development of the B Corp Movement," she said.

“ The province stands out for its leadership in the transition to new economies : the private sector, the provincial government, various municipalities, and academia have promoted policies and programs over the years to foster sustainable economic development,” Arias added.

Constanza Carillo, Director of Communities at Sistema B Argentina , highlighted the importance of the meeting in strengthening ties between business leaders. “This is a space to celebrate the B Community, to reflect, to share, and to understand that we are not alone, that we are part of something bigger. It is a moment to recharge and find alternatives that we might not see on our own.”

Every year, Sistema B Argentina organizes this national meeting in different parts of the country. Last year's edition was in Mar del Plata, and the one before that, in 2023, in Córdoba . This year, Mendoza was chosen, a region that stands out: with 29 B Corps originating from Mendoza or with a presence in the province, it is the third region in the country with the most B Corps (after the City of Buenos Aires and the Province of Buenos Aires).

“ Mendoza was also the first province to approve an Impactful Public Procurement Ordinance. It is also home to the first public university in Latin America to offer a Business Administration degree with a focus on triple-impact organizations,” said Sebastián Barboza, General Manager of Bodega Lagarde . “These are concrete steps that demonstrate a province that not only dreams, but also takes action and inspires,” he added.

Mendoza's B Corps generate 1,900 local jobs, achieve annual revenues of US$65 million, and make Mendoza the province with the highest ratio of B Corps to the total number of local businesses. For all these reasons, Sistema B Argentina launched the "Mendoza B Route," a guide featuring B Corp options for wineries, restaurants, tourist experiences, and more.

With the aim of inspiring the participants, four outstanding cases of collaboration between B Corps were shared during the event:

• A survey conducted by Unplastify on de-plasticization in B Corporations.
• The case of Cook Master , which had been working to replace disposable plastic trays in prison populations and together with Buplasa incorporated solutions for collecting recyclable waste.
• The B Route , a triple impact tourist route promoted by Esencia Patagonia.
• B-Fest , the Mendoza wine and gastronomy event with a positive impact on social projects in the province.

In addition, the progress of the B Movement in Argentina was shared, and exchange dynamics were generated so that leaders could share experiences and knowledge with each other with the aim of fostering future collaborations with a positive impact throughout the country.

After the event, the participants headed to the fourth edition of B-Fest, organized in Trivento together with the other eight B Wineries in the country: Araujo, CARO, Dolium, Bodega Subterránea, Domaine Bousquet, Kaiken, Lagarde, Penedo Borges and The Wine Plan.
