Morante de la Puebla chooses Illumbe for the most bullfighting day: August 15th

There's barely a month left until the start of San Sebastián's Semana Grande, which will take place on August 14, 15, and 16. And this July 7, BMF has officially announced the lineup for the Illumbe bullfights . On its feast day, the Virgin of August, the most bullfighting day of the summer calendar, they will have Morante de la Puebla under their wing. He will be performing in a mixed event, alongside the young matador Marco Pérez—still recovering from an injury—and the novillera Olga Casado.

The combinations, which lack Roca Rey's presence, coincide with those recently published on the company's sales platform. These are:

Thursday, August 14. Bulls from Vellosino for Juan Ortega, Borja Jiménez, and Pablo Aguado.

Friday 15th. Bulls from Núñez del Cuvillo for Morante de la Puebla, Marco Pérez and Olga Casado.

Saturday 16th. Capea and Zalduendo bulls for Guillermo Hermoso de Mendoza, José María Manzanares and Alejandro Talavante.
