Marcia Brenner is a 100-year-old woman currently living in New York City, USA, who despite having hearing problems or being partially blind, continues to see her patients by telephone.
All people seeking consultation with her need to do is dial her contact number and wait a few seconds for the therapist to respond from a wireless headset.

Her story was reported a few days ago by The New York Times, in which she recounted her experience with this particular modality and what led her to continue practicing remotely.

According to Brenner in an interview, due to the global health emergency, he had to conduct his sessions with the help of various technological tools because he felt a deep commitment to people and his profession.
However, in most of her conversations with her patients, she noticed that during the encounters she was asking them for some personal information that they had already discussed previously and that she was beginning to forget.

Faced with her troubling memory loss, she felt frustrated, but managed to find strength in her family's philosophy, which is that it is important to "never say no to a guest or someone asking for help."
In the midst of her conversation with the American newspaper, the psychologist also emphasized that she always felt that if she ever decided to retire, her patients would be disappointed that they couldn't continue the process with her .
In addition, the health aide, who supports Brenner with her schedule and certain daily activities, confessed that when the woman was hospitalized due to a hip problem, the people who attend therapy with her constantly called to ask when she would return and if her recovery was going well.
Throughout her 62 years of experience, she has had to deal with a large number of patients, who, although they presented very diverse personalities and situations, the psychologist is clear that she never abandoned any of them.
