Skip the adBack to the future. As in 1992, a time when Luis Fernandez was still wearing his colours as a player, AS Cannes reached the semi-finals of the Coupe de France. The National 2 (4th div.) residents got the better of Guingamp (L2) in their Pierre-de-Coubertin stadium ( 3-1 ). They notably scored a goal from the centre circle . In the only clash between Ligue 1 clubs in these quarter-finals, Angers' Bamba Dieng responded, in injury time, to the opening goal by Reims' Keito Nakamura. In the penalty shootout, it was Reims who had the last word and reached the semi-finals ( 1-1, 3-5 on penalties ).
The last two quarter-finals will take place on Wednesday, Brest-Dunkerque (L2) at 7 p.m. and Stade Briochin (N2)-PSG, at 9:10 p.m. The semi-finals will take place on April 1 and 2 and the final on May 24 on the Stade de France pitch.
