According to our information, 53 deported individuals were returned to France between March and July 22, bringing the total to 76 refusals. This has angered the Interior Ministry, which took a series of measures on Tuesday targeting senior Algerian officials in an effort to force the government to agree to take back its dangerous nationals. Dozens of political, economic, and military officials will no longer benefit from diplomatic facilities to travel to France or settle there.
