Twenty people were arrested in a wave of large-scale arrests carried out simultaneously in several cities across the country, from Istanbul to Antalya, as well as in Oslo (Norway).
More than 1.5 tons of drugs were seized and "53 properties, 27 vehicles, 15 companies and partnerships belonging to the suspects were identified," he explained. This represents assets worth 1.5 billion Turkish liras – approximately 31 million euros.
The alleged traffickers are accused of money laundering, drug importation, and participation in criminal organizations. Among them, Ismail Abdo is a very big fish.
