Rima Hassan turned away at Tel Aviv airport

The MEP was planning to travel to Israel and then to the West Bank. The Jewish state's Interior Ministry refused her entry.
Her statements in favor of the Gazans are known, even in Israel. Rima Hassan , an Insoumise MEP, will not be able to enter Israeli territory, Interior Minister Moshe Arbel has ordered, reports the daily Haaretz . Her plane, coming from Brussels, landed at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. She was to travel, along with her colleagues, to Israel and then to the West Bank.
"As soon as she arrived on Israeli soil, an Israeli agent informed this 'anti-Semite' of the ministry's decision: 'you are banned from entering'. She replied 'ok I understand'. Come on BYE BYE. Hope to never see you again' , explained Israeli MP (Likud, government coalition) Boaz Bismuth on X.
Several images are emerging on social media showing her in the airport, without it being possible to identify them independently. "There is no place for anti-Semites of the worst kind in Israel! Or maybe only in prison!!" Meyer Habib, a former foreign MP representing Israelis in particular, rejoiced on X. "Welcome back, Rima Hassan. Good afternoon. And of course... good evening!" added Rachel Kahn, a French writer.
The MEP is known for her virulence towards Israel and her open support for the Palestinian cause. She was summoned by the courts for "apology for terrorism" on April 30 for having affirmed that Hamas was carrying out "legitimate action" .
"If Franco-Israelis are allowed to serve in the Israeli army while enjoying the benefits of dual nationality, all Franco-Palestinians must be able to join the Palestinian armed resistance, whose legitimacy is recognized by United Nations resolutions relating to the right to self-determination of peoples," she declared again on December 20.
