UK growth stalls in July

UK gross domestic product stagnated in July, after growing 0.4% in June, dealing a further blow to the Labour government's growth ambitions just months before the much-anticipated budget.
Growth was hampered by a slowdown in manufacturing, despite small improvements in services and construction, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said in its monthly report on Friday.
