Russian drone and artillery attacks on several regions of Ukraine left at least four dead and 36 injured overnight from Sunday to Monday, local authorities announced.

The attacks left at least two dead and two wounded in the Sumy region, one dead and two wounded in the Kherson region, one dead in the Odessa region, 27 wounded in the Kharkiv region and five wounded in the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to the governors and mayors of the affected areas.

Russian drones also struck the capital Kyiv, damaging buildings but causing no casualties, Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on Telegram.

On Friday, the Russian military fired more than 530 explosive drones and a dozen missiles, notably at Kyiv, killing at least two people. It was the most massive drone attack since the conflict began in February 2022, according to Ukrainian authorities.

On the Russian side, the Defense Ministry announced the interception of 91 Ukrainian drones during the night from Sunday to Monday, including 20 in the Belgorod region, 14 in the Kursk region and eight in the Moscow region.
