War in Ukraine: Zelensky hopes to meet Trump in Washington on Friday

The Ukrainian president wants to finalize a framework agreement on the exploitation of Ukrainian minerals and ask his American counterpart whether he intends to "stop" aid to Ukraine.
Skip the adUkrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday, February 26, that he was aiming to meet with his American counterpart Donald Trump in Washington on Friday, February 28, to finalize a framework agreement on the exploitation of Ukrainian minerals, and to ask him whether he intends to "stop" aid to Ukraine.
"There is a working date (...) on Friday," Zelensky explained at a press conference in Kiev. "My question (to Donald Trump) will be very direct: will the United States stop support or not? Can we buy weapons, if not more aid?" he said afterwards, speaking in English.
