"Les 12 coups de midi": Emilien, biggest winner of TV games, eliminated after two years of reign

Emilien, the historic midday master of the TF1 game show "Les 12 coups de midi", was finally eliminated this Sunday, July 6, 2025, after 640 participations in this show in which he appeared since September 2023. In total, the 22-year-old won 2.5 million euros in winnings, in cash and gifts. In the list of the biggest winners in the history of TV games, he is ahead of another candidate from "Les 12 coups de midi" , Bruno Lafourcade (more than one million euros in cash and gifts).
"It's been an exceptional experience for 21 months. No regrets. I never expected to have the opportunity to stay so long," Emilien reacted on the set. The candidate was beaten by Romain, the new midday host. The last question he didn't have time to answer was: "How much do you get by adding the two numbers for the Gironde department?"
Originally from Vendée, Emilien (his surname is withheld to protect his privacy) previously studied history and geography in Toulouse, which he put on hold because he couldn't do it while also working on acting. He is a long-time fan of "Les 12 coups de midi" , which he watched as a child with his family, most often with his grandparents. After a failed first casting at the age of 18, he tried his luck again two years ago, on the advice of his grandmother.
