SERIES (3/5). The C8 channel will close on February 28. On this occasion, we look back at the eventful history of its flagship show "Touche pas à mon poste" and its presenter. Third episode of our investigation into the year 2015, where the host now has "all the power".
By Benjamin MeffreIn this spring of 2015, Vincent Bolloré is strangely procrastinating. However, his financial terms have received the green light from his deputies, Bertrand Meheut and Rodolphe Belmer , the bosses of Canal +.
Internally, there is uncertainty about the causes of this sudden wait-and-see attitude. "Too expensive", "not enough rights in exchange", "not a good deal", the rumours are rife. "It wasn't very clear but it wasn't moving forward, remembers a close friend of the host of D 8 (the name of C8 at the time) , who points out that "given the size of the sum at stake, Vivendi had to give its imprimatur." Weeks pass, then months.
