A summer at the Château de Campagne

The Campagne departmental estate offers numerous activities throughout the summer, until August 29.
A new edition of the " Summer in the Countryside" event has begun. This year, around fifteen events are planned and will run until August 29. On Fridays throughout the summer, free events and shows are scheduled on the Campagne departmental estate, as well as open-air cinema screenings coupled with gourmet markets. Two open-air dance hall evenings with dinner and a show are also offered on August 5 and 23 at 7 p.m. Finally, several summer festivals will offer their programs for one evening.
One of the unique activities offered at the Domaine départemental de Campagne is the chiropterological curiosity cabinet, which is complemented by a virtual reality experience. This cabinet is located on the ground floor of the château. It consists of an exhibition on the presence and life of bats, a collection of scientific instruments, and a library open to the public.
Discover the life of batsNext door, in a virtual immersion room, the public, via a virtual reality experience using headsets, will be teleported to the attic of the Château de Campagne. They will discover the bats in their environment without disturbing them and will move around the digital envelope of this 3D-scanned attic to admire the roof structure. This activity is open every day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on request at reception for ages thirteen and up.
The Campagne estate is home to a wealth of treasures. To discover them, a gardener invites you to stroll through this English-style park, discovering its remarkable arboretum, its serpentine garden, its medieval garden, and many other treasures. Guided tours of the park are offered every Tuesday and Thursday at 11 a.m. until August 28. An exhibition curated by Monif Ajaj can also be discovered in the castle's rooms.
