American actress Michelle Trachtenberg was found dead at her New York home on Wednesday night. Known in part for her roles in the series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Gossip Girl," the star died at the age of 39.
By Le ParisienMichelle Trachtenberg has died at the age of 39. According to ABC News , which got its information from police sources, the American actress was found unconscious in her New York apartment, near Columbus Circle, this Wednesday shortly after 8 a.m. local time.
The small screen star was best known for her role in the fantasy series " Buffy the Vampire Slayer ", where she played Dawn Summers between 2000 and 2003. She also made a name for herself in "Gossip Girl", playing Georgina Sparks in the drama series.
