After the cancellation of C8, the show "Animaux à adopte" returns to TMC

Viewers will find Sandrine Arcizet and Elodie Ageron, who have been at the helm of this program since 2018, in addition to "Animaux de la 8," one of C8's flagship programs, which they presented for 20 years.

"Animals for Adoption" takes a behind-the-scenes look at the SPA alongside its employees and volunteers, following cats and dogs from their arrival at a shelter to their adoption.

The show will be rebroadcast on Sundays on TMC, with four episodes already announced for May 25 at 1:10 p.m.

A new season, currently being filmed, will be offered soon, potentially at the start of the school year, TF1 told AFP, touting a "family" program.

Sandrine Arcizet and Elodie Ageron burst into tears during the last episode of "Animaux de la 8", broadcast a few days before the end of C8 on February 28.

The Canal+ group channel has ceased broadcasting after its frequency was not renewed by Arcom, the audiovisual regulator.

His eviction from TNT (digital terrestrial television) was largely motivated by the channel's "repeated failings", which accumulated 7.6 million euros in fines due to the excesses of its star Cyril Hanouna, the host of "Touche pas à mon poste".

The latter will join the M6 ​​group in September, for two shows on Fun Radio and on the W9 channel.
