Bar-le-Duc. Miss Lorraine: there will be two of them representing the Meuse

"I can't wait to see more of them, so they can reveal themselves!" Raphaëlle, 22, from Void-Vacon, met, like the other spectators of the Miss Meurthe-et-Moselle 2025 competition, the two representatives from Meuse at Miss Lorraine.
The younger of the two is Emmanuelle Delesalle. Originally from Lille, in the north of France, the 36-year-old candidate moved to Verdun 14 years ago. "I came here to practice my profession, that of chiropodist," explains the thirty-year-old.
"Verdun is a medical desert and I want to fight against that. I have a lot of trouble finding a replacement during my maternity leave," says the mother of three children, aged 3, 7 and 9.
But let's not limit her to this role! "I'd like to show that a woman isn't just a mother," says Emmanuelle Delesalle with a big smile. "This is my very first Miss competition, and with these new developments and this open-mindedness at Miss France, I told myself it was time to give it a go."
Lolita Berard, 40, is not a first-time beauty pageant winner. In 2006, she competed in Miss Pays de l'Ain, but was unsuccessful. A native of Verdun, the forty-year-old has lived in Naives-Rosières since 2000. A public finance executive, Lolita Berard explains that she has "grown since her first competition and gained confidence."
"In the meantime, life has happened. It was my sixteen-year-old daughter who entered me into the competition, and I didn't think I'd be able to do it again," explains the woman who describes the competition as "a new challenge."
It should be noted that no Meuse woman has reached the Miss Lorraine podium since 2018, when Victorine Rimlinger, Miss Meuse, finished 5th in the regional competition. This year, Lolita Berard and Emmanuelle Delesalle will attempt to ward off the department's bad luck on October 11 in Amnéville.
