Between Saint-Jean and the Fête de la Musique, the Dordogne comes alive and bustles

Bergerac. Concert by the band Tears of Hope (party rock, reggae, and socially charged songs), as part of the release of their album "Neniu Baro," at VandB, at 8 p.m. Free.

Cherval. Cherval Festival: village festival with country meals and dancing around a Saint John fire.

Coursac. La Fabrique de Saint-Astier and Ciné Passion en Périgord are joining forces to offer nine open-air cinema screenings in nine towns on the outskirts of Coursac. The first, in partnership with the Coursac Festival Committee, will take place at 10 p.m. at the Coursac leisure center with "Lilo & Stitch." Single entry: €5.

Excideuil. The Large Windows and Bourg d'Excideuil. Opening at 6 p.m. of the "L 125.1" exhibition by the MIACE Collective. Sculptures on karst blocks, paintings, photographs, and installations created in situ. A program of meetings, conferences, performances, and workshops is offered from June 20 to 30. Free admission. Montignac. As part of the Fête de la Musique, the departmental conservatory is organizing a jazz workshop concert on the parade ground at 6:30 p.m.

Payzac. Meet the CIE Cont'en l'air association at 6 p.m. Sylvie Guédon and Murièle Rivière share their complicity and humor through words at the Vaux paper mills. For young and old. Price: 10 euros.

As part of the Fête de la Musique, the departmental conservatory is organizing a musical tale about gluttony, at the Bergeracois branch, at 2 p.m. "All on stage special ensembles," at the Récollets cloister, at 4 p.m. Concert by the young Dordogne choir and orchestra in partnership with the UMB, at the Notre-Dame church, starting at 8 p.m.

Boulazac-Isle-Manoire. Book club, at the Louis-Aragon media library, at 4 p.m.

Brouchaud. As part of the Fête de la Musique, Pour les Amis du Bontemps is organizing a day of concert entertainment. A garage sale, an inflatable structure, a concert, and a Saint John bonfire will be on the agenda for the day.
