British duo Bob Vylan in turmoil after comments against the Israeli army

After chanting "Death to the IDF" on stage at the Glastonbury Festival, British punk duo Bob Vylan has been caught in the middle of a storm. They have been removed from several festivals and have also had their visas for the United States revoked, according to American and British media reports.
While the British punk duo Bob Vylan was until then “largely unknown to the general public,” their performance on June 28th on the stage of the Glastonbury Festival is still generating a lot of ink a week later. Because “it has been in the news all over the world since the singer, Bobby Vylan, had the Glastonbury audience chanting 'Death, death to the IDF' ,” a reference to the Israel Defense Forces, the official name of the Jewish state's army, reports The Guardian .

On Tuesday, July 1 , the duo reacted on Instagram, saying they were "targeted for speaking out," according to the BBC. Meanwhile, British broadcaster removed the video of the duo's performance from its platform after being criticized by the government for initially broadcasting it.
