Inspired by music: come and discover the original works of British artist Tom Henderson in Salernes

His exhibition is titled "Acoustic Colors," and his works play with components like a musician does with his instrument. Tom Henderson drew inspiration for his work from music, which he prefers to be instrumental and analog. The juxtaposition of materials that make up his paintings represents, for him, melodies composed according to the inspiration of the moment. "Creating without artifice, without electricity when it comes to instruments... I am comfortable in the analog world," he explains.

Tom Henderson's career is as colorful as his murals. After studying at the Newcastle School of Fine Arts in the north of England, he worked in the film industry creating advertisements.

He then moved into documentary production. "Then I worked in a bookstore in London and discovered my passion for books!"

After a life in England, a haven of peace in Provence

It's a job that also allows him to fulfill his role as a father. Discovering Provence changed Tom's career path: "Here, we have a house, we live in a calm environment conducive to my creativity. We're happy!"

Light, color, and movement are the components of his original creations, some of which are suspended. The viewer walks around them and discovers all the subtle variations of the colored reflections. "I want to discover the squaring of the circle by exploring the link between science and art," smiles the artist.
