Meurthe-et-Moselle. Hussigny-Godbrange: Laurent Righi named honorary mayor of the commune
At the Louis-Aragon community center, nine elected officials were honored in recognition of their long-standing commitment to the town. Carla Monti, councilor responsible for events and ceremonies, received the silver medal. Robert Moranda, Jean-Luc Ruggieri, Marc Manocchi, Sylvie Joly, and Jean-Marie Piermantier received the silver medal, while Arlette Malandra received the gold medal for her 40 years as an elected official.

Robert Marini received the city medal. Mayor Laurent Caramelle is well aware of the careers of each of these elected officials, who have contributed greatly to the development of the town over many years. He emphasized that these honorary distinctions were well-deserved and marked the state's just recognition of the work accomplished in the service of the town and for the general interest.
Finally, Laurent Righi, the town's first mayor from 1989 to 2024 , was also awarded the distinction of honorary mayor. "By awarding you this title, an entire town is saying thank you. Thank you for your time, thank you for the connections you have forged, for the generations you have inspired. Thank you for being a pillar of our community," Laurent Caramelle said to his predecessor.
