This moment is the concert given by the King of Pop on July 27, 1997. Michael Jackson performed on the French Riviera during his History Tour .

And it was during this show that he lost a sock.

It was a set technician who found it when the equipment was being dismantled , our colleagues at France 3 report . The sock is decorated with faceted square crystals, "hundreds on the top" , which is "very characteristic" , explains an expert.

The item was designed by the singer's personal stylists , Tompkins and Bush.

"She has a real story"

Very well preserved, it was estimated at between 3,000 and 4,000 euros . For one of the auctioneers who organized the auction on Saturday, "it's a souvenir. It has a real story."

"It's incredible. I feel like he's still here. I grew up with his songs," shared a fan who came to observe the object.
