Paul de Saint-Sernin, Béatrice Dalle, Mathias Malzieu... the ambitious season of the Jacques-Prévert Forum in Carros

At the Forum Jacques Prévert (FJP) in Carros, art doesn't just exist: it explodes, it questions, it carries away. For the cultural center's 2025-2026 season, and with the departure of Pierre Caussin, who has been appointed artistic director of Scène 55 in Mougins, Laurie Andrio, administrator of the Forum Jacques Prévert, has taken charge of the programming.
As a preamble to the cultural season, the Jacques à dit Festival , developed by the FJP, is organized from September 10 to 14 in six communes of the Middle Country. From Carros to Bonson via Saint-Jeannet, La Gaude, Gilette and Saint-Martin-du-Var, there are 11 free shows and 29 performances to be seen with the family. "We offer shows to communes that do not necessarily have suitable services or infrastructure," explains Laurie Andrio. The real opening ball of the Jacques Prévert Forum season is entrusted to the circus company from Spain, D'es Tro , and its show , to be seen on October 3. "There's juggling, acrobatics, object manipulation and there's even a giant 45-kilo top that they spin with a rope, it's a very poetic universe," Laurie Andrio describes enthusiastically.
Theater and humor, between intimacy and commitmentOn the theatre and comedy side, the programme combines big names and new voices. The show by Paul de Saint-Sernin , sniper on the show Quelle Époque on France 2, will be on show on October 7. "It is very touching and not in an aggressive sense of humour. He talks about his daily life as a neuro-atypical person and opens up about his journey and his family." The first one-man show by political scientist Clément Viktorovitch , , is to be discovered on November 7. "It is not a conference, but a play. He is made up and plays the communications advisor to the President of the Republic, determined to take revenge after being ousted over a haircut expense report ," comments Laurie Andrio. Finally, the astonishing collaboration, between concert and reading, of Béatrice Dalle and the rapper Youv Dee in tribute to Kurt Cobain, thirty years after his death, , is to be seen on November 20.
Music and dance, dialogue between bodies and emotionsThe musical and choreographic program is striking in its eclecticism. The concert by Ben l'Oncle Soul will be on November 28th in the Salle des Arts d'Azur, in Broc. Rose Movie will be on February 27th, and Mathias Malzieu , singer of the rock band Dionysos, will offer a reading concert based on his universe, entitled , March 20. The concert by Dick Annegarn , the Dutch singer-songwriter, will be on April 24. On the dance side, the piece , proposed by "the extraordinary dancer who defies the laws of physics" , Sofiane Chalal , on the occasion of the Trajectoires festival, is not to be missed, on January 30. Just like , from the Bacchus Company , to be seen on April 3.
Young audiences and wonder as a vocation"The heart of the Forum's DNA is artistic and cultural transmission," recalls Laurie Andrio. Labeled "art, childhood and youth convention scene," the FJP offers a rich program for young people. As in an opera version presented by the Ensemble Télémaque and the Compagnie Arcal , on November 25. "The opportunity for children to discover opera through the story of a well-known tale. It's a great show with sets, lighting effects and around ten artists present on stage," explains Laurie Andrio. Alongside this show, voice discovery workshops and a visit to the Nice Opera are offered. Children will also be able to discover visual magic with the show Faces à Face , by the Compagnie Faro , on December 16, and paper theater with the adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood by the Compagnie Gorgomar , , March 28.
