The 44th edition of the Saint-Raph' Jazz Festival takes place until this Sunday

It's a music that has inspired so many others and is unparalleled in spreading joy. From Thursday until Sunday evening, jazz in all its forms is in the spotlight in the city of the Archangel.
The 44th edition of the Saint-Raph' Jazz Festival is in full swing in the city center and in the neighborhoods. It's hard to miss the groups ( Les Rogers Brass Band , Desmadre Orkesta , Les Mutants de l'Espace , Le Gros Tube , La Marmaille, Fanfare Gloups , etc.) who take turns to brighten up the town by strolling along Cours Guilbaud, Promenade René-Côty, the old center, and Place Victor-Hugo.
At nightfall in the Jardin Bonaparte, traditional South American grooves took center stage on Thursday. On Friday, Philippe Milanta, Kansas City 8, was invited to liven up the "Jazz by the Sea" space.
A new, more chic settingAt the foot of the Ferris wheel, the Jazz Village brings a high-quality, relaxed festival atmosphere to the town known for its Belle Époque architectural heritage.
This 44th edition is also the first on the new developments of the Promenade des Bains.
More chic, the redesigned urban spaces, such as the one located at the corner of Promenade René-Coty and Boulevard Félix-Martin, allow concerts to be held in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere, reinforced by the restaurateurs who have decided to play the game by adapting their business to the event.
- From 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.: several groups will walk along Cours Guilbaud, Quai Albert 1er , Promenade René-Coty and Général De Gaulle.
- From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.: stroll by Desmadre Orkestra in the old center and Place Victor-Hugo.
- From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.: After work Jazz DJ Richard at the jazz village.
- From 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.: Jam session at the jazz village.
- From 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Elektrisch on the casino terrace.
- 9:30 p.m.: tribute concert "Sinatra, the voice is back" in the agora of the convention center.
Sunday- 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: large parade through the city, starting from the cultural center (pl. Gabriel-Péri).
