Vogelgrun. Art'Rhena will be going outside the walls for its 5th season.

Vogelgrun. Art'Rhena will be going outside the walls for its 5th season.

The presentation of the fifth season of Art Rhena took place on Friday, June 6th in Vogelgrun, followed by three pop and hip-hop concerts by French and German artists. It was an opportunity to take stock of the past year in this binational cultural venue, which is welcoming an ever-growing audience.

The fourth season of Art'Rhena concluded Friday evening with a triple Franco-German pop and hip-hop concert. Beforehand, Philippe Mas, vice-president of the Alsace Rhin Brisach community of communes in charge of cultural development, briefly reviewed the past artistic year.

According to the elected official, attendance at the binational cultural venue is constantly increasing and seems to have reached cruising speed, meeting the expectations of the public, who came in greater numbers than last year. Jérémy Goltzene, the director of the cultural structure, then unveiled, with his well-known verve, the 27 shows for the next edition, assisted by the young Willi Dinger for the translation into Goethe's language, and revealed his four favorites:

The excellent folk-pop band We are Alva from Hartheim (Germany) kicked off the closing concert, followed by Coeurly, a self-taught artist from Colmar. The hip-hop duo Zweierpasch showed off their talent before the curtain fell. Photo Jean Marc Lalevée

- Reclaim by the Théâtre d'un jour company, which mixes theatre and circus, with an opera singer, two cellists and five acrobats, on a theme inspired by a highly emotional Central Asian ritual.

- Pan's Poisoned Apple ! The Company. The story of Snow White revisited, where the villain isn't necessarily who you think.

- Les grands fourneaux by the CIE Max & Maurice, a dinner show under a big top with incredible acrobatics, singing and music on the menu.

- Tridiculous the show by the Tridiculous trio, as part of the annual Franco-German comedy festival. Three acrobat musicians and singers who combine breakdancing, acrobatics, music and humor, with the highlight: Purple Rain by Prince, sung… upside down on one hand!

The two plays presented by the Theater Baden Alsace, Marlène-Piaf , a series of musical tableaux recounting the little-known friendship between Marlène Dietrich and Édith Piaf, and Aenne Burda , which, in the form of a musical comedy, tells the story of the life of the famous fashion designer, are also expected to be highlights of the next edition.

Finally, if you don't go to Art'Rhena, Art'Rhena will come to you! A concept inspired by the one practiced by the Comédie de Colmar, with the aim of attracting new spectators.

Thus, two shows will be performed "off-site": Les grands fourneaux and Racine by Humani théâtre, a story punctuated with Occitan songs that describe the malaise of a young schoolgirl searching for the missing link. For the moment, the performance locations are not yet known.
