Meurthe-et-Moselle. Heatwave: the department on orange alert

Given the high temperatures observed, the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle has been placed on orange heatwave alert from this Tuesday, August 12 at 12 p.m.
Temperatures will indeed continue to rise in the department, reaching maximums between 34°C and 37°C. The prefecture recommends paying particular attention to fragile and/or isolated people; in case of discomfort or behavioral problems, call a doctor; close shutters and windows during the day and ventilate at night; go to a cool or air-conditioned place for 2 to 3 hours per day; drink water regularly, without waiting to be thirsty, and eat normally; do not go out during the hottest hours (11 a.m.-9 p.m.); limit physical activities, wet your body several times a day (spray, shower, etc.).
