Robert Herrmann, former president of the Strasbourg Eurometropolis , was elected president of the Bas-Rhin Cancer League at the general meeting held on April 17 in Brumath. He succeeds Gilbert Schneider, who died in September 2024, and Professor Patrick Dufour, who, after ensuring the transition, did not wish to stand again.

Robert Herrmann has pledged to extend and intensify the League's work on prevention and research, placing patients and caregivers at the heart of all the association's work, particularly through the assistance and support provided to them.
