The French and camping? It's a love story that has lasted nearly a century. According to an Ifop survey last spring, a third of respondents had opted for this type of vacation in the previous three years, particularly those over 65 or large families, and more specifically for budgetary reasons . But anyone who has ever pitched a tent or parked a caravan somewhere knows: camping, when you're short-sighted, ill-equipped, or struck by bad luck, can also go wrong.
