In Paris, Italian restaurants are flourishing. It's not always justified... This restaurant ranks among the best. A place for regulars in this pretty suburb, but not only.

Cardito, the name of a village near Naples, where Maxence Verrecchia's grandfather was born. A way for this young entrepreneur (26 years old!) to pay homage to the patriarch, who arrived in France in 1932. Today, Cardito is, above all, for the people of the Paris region, a restaurant that has succeeded in its gamble. Careful, refined decor, designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte : midnight blue walls, diamond-shaped and colored stained glass windows to divide the room into two parts, terrazzo floor, tables also, but decorated like a backgammon game... In fact, the architect must love diamonds.

Maxence Verrecchia wasn't born a restaurateur. Heir to a family of entrepreneurs, he chose this path, opening three restaurants and overseeing his establishments daily. He visits each one daily. The restaurant's priority is the freshness of its ingredients. Everything is made on-site, except for the ice cream. The pasta is prepared by a young chef, Gabriel Rossi, "imported" from Italy.
