He allegedly abused his underage players: volleyball coach arrested in Varese

Aggravated sexual violence: this is the accusation against a 53-year-old volleyball coach, who was arrested by the Carabinieri on the orders of the investigating judge of Varese. He is said to have abused some underage players, aged between thirteen and sixteen. Seven victims have been confirmed to date. The investigations began after the complaint made last November by one of the alleged victims, who reported the incident to her mother and, subsequently, to the investigators where the family filed a complaint. The girl said that the incidents occurred during training and matches, as well as on the way home when she was accompanied by the same coach. There are said to be multiple confirmed incidents. The man, taken to the prison of Varese, is a father and has been coaching the youth sector of the company for over two years.
