He goes up onto the cycle/pedestrian bridge with his car

A man, in a car, went up on the cycle/pedestrian bridge in Opera (Milan) on Saturday afternoon. Perhaps a wrong maneuver, or perhaps a misunderstanding with the navigator.

"This driver on the cycle/pedestrian bridge beat everyone else… obviously he had to reverse back because (thank God) it's not possible to turn onto the footbridge," wrote Ettore Fusco.
