An escape room to discover the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum.

This is the new initiative of the first City Escape that, in the coming months, will involve several cities in Lombardy thanks to the victory of the #InnovaCultura call. This project, born from the collaboration between the Lombardy Region, the Cariplo Foundation and Unioncamere Lombardia, represents a new support tool for cultural institutions in rethinking their activities and their functioning, while offering concrete support to cultural and creative enterprises.

At the heart of the adventure is the mystery of an ancient relic hidden in one of the rooms, which players will have to discover by solving puzzles and riddles closely related to the museum collections.

The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum is not only the setting for the experience, but above all an authentic treasure in the heart of Milan. The house museum was born at the end of the 19th century from the dream of the brothers Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi to recreate a Renaissance-style home.

The artistic heritage housed in the museum has been preserved as it was originally: elegantly decorated walls, precious collections of furniture, artefacts, majolica, armour, glass, fine textile productions and paintings of remarkable workmanship including works by Gentile and Giovanni Bellini and Giampietrino.

Along the way, the game participants will immerse themselves in the rich rooms of the museum, carefully observing the mirabilia in the display cases, the tapestries and the artefacts, in search of clues that could prove crucial to unraveling the enigma.
