Campania Film Commission is 20 years old: about 2 thousand films and TV series supported

The Film Commission Regione Campania celebrates twenty years of activity, which has led to the reception and support of approximately 2,000 titles, including international films, highly successful TV series, documentaries, commercials and short films. Activities to celebrate the activity have begun: an institutional video with 20 thematic areas has been created, presented during the fifth edition in Naples of the “Nastri d'Argento Grandi Serie”, an event of the Italian Film Journalists (Sngi) in collaboration with FCRC and the support of the MiC – General Directorate of Cinema and Audiovisual. The in-house Foundation of the Campania Region, chaired by Titta Fiore, director Maurizio Gemma, has also created monitors on totems to play with clips of films and TV series, all through the Phlay app, created by Emotricon and already used for Let's Movie available on the FCRC website. The new interactive experience of the Fcrc, “Campania scenes to explore”, allows you to navigate through the numerous titles shot in the region and create personalized trailers by combining sequences of films and series collected in four thematic areas: drama, comedy, action and love. The Villa Pignatelli (Diego Aragona Cortes Museum) which hosted the evening was proposed as a setting by the Film Commission Regione Campania for numerous films and popular television series. Among the various projects also “L'amore che guarisce”, a TV film by Giacomo Campiotti, “Il giovane favoloso” by Mario Martone, “Il Commissario Ricciardi”, where Livia's home was set, the TV “Questi Fantasmi” directed by Alessandro Gassman.
