Events: The prologue to the Sanza-Welcoming Festival kicks off Wednesday the 13th.

A prologue that is already a Festival, with Fedez as the expected protagonist. The preview of the "Sanza-Festival dell'accoglienza" (Sanza-Welcoming Festival) , scheduled for August 13th, 14th, and 28th , promises to be full of interesting events. It's a taste of the major project that the Campania Region and the Municipality of Sanza (Salerno) will implement next year with the Fondazione Campania dei Festival (Campania Festival Foundation ). This initiative is made possible through PNRR funds to support Pilot Projects for the cultural, social, and economic regeneration of abandoned and at-risk villages. And the Campania Region, with a council resolution , has identified the Cilento village of Sanza as the perfect location for this project to enhance the area, not only for its historical and identity-building value, but also for its strategic geographical location, in the heart of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano, and Alburni National Park.

On August 13th and 14th, the avenues, picturesque corners, and squares of Sanza will come alive from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM with "Buskers." This event , organized by the Kiklos association and under the artistic direction of Mario Barnaba , will feature street artists, jugglers, and tightrope walkers, transporting the audience into a dreamlike, poetic, and magical dimension, made unique by the charm of the location. The featured performers will be Italian-Argentine actor Diego Draghi at 6:30 PM with the comic juggling act "Fuori pista!" , Lorella Monti and Enzo Mirone , “Girovaghi a manovella” at 7pm in a concert-show for barrel organ and voice, Michela Samaki, “Ragazza confusa” at 8pm with juggling, tap-dance and stand-up comedy, the Italian-Chilean duo Cia Depáso at 9pm with “La Trottola” from their contemporary circus, the Shedan Theater Company, capable of combining old and new languages alternating at 10pm two different parade-shows on stilts: “Orbs” on the evening of the 13th and “Steamplant movement” on the 14th . The corsair and itinerant tribe, made up of musicians, circus performers and theatre artists, will then leave space in Piazza Cavour at 11pm on Wednesday 13th and at 10pm the following day for “Suite n.0” , an event curated by “Funa”. A violinist, Caterina Bianco , and three aerial performers, Marianna Moccia, Viola Russo, and Ginevra Cecere : four bodies, a dance suspended from a thread, and evocative music to hold your breath and push the spectators' gaze to the limit of empathy. The dramaturgy is by Alessio Aronne . The program for the eve of Ferragosto will conclude in Piazza Giovanni Falcone at 10:30 pm with Raffaello Converso in "La canzone napoletana d'autore," a moving concert organized by the Discantus Association . Converso will be accompanied by Mimmo Napolitano (piano), Peppe Di Colandrea (sax), Franco Ponzo (guitar), Luigi Sigillo (bass), and Luigi Fiscale (drums). Artistic direction by Luigi Grima .

Admission to the events on August 13th and 14th is completely free, subject to availability in the case of the musical recital .

The grand finale will take place on August 28th at the Villa Comunale in Sanza , where, preceded at 9:30 pm by the overture of the young and talented Collettivo Cvlture , there will be a DJ set by Fedez , one of the most beloved figures in Italy.
