In Capurso music, dance, art, sport and theatre: here is the 2025 summer programme

Live music, theater festivals, contemporary dance shows, art, sports, literary meetings and good food: with 254 initiatives from June to September, thanks to the involvement of 2 councils and 30 local associations, the summer of 2025 of the Municipality of Capurso is lived outdoors, between culture and entertainment.
Worth noting: the month of July starts with a double event on July 4 and 5 with the tribute to Lucio Battisti by I Nastri Rosa and to Vasco Rossi by I Komandanti. Wednesday, July 16, at 8:30 p.m., the churchyard of the Basilica della Madonna del Pozzo becomes a theater of laughter with “Una sera con Ale & Franz” for the fifth edition of La Puglia che Ride curated by Capurso Web Tv and the association Promolab716. From the bench to surreal dialogues, the show promises live interactions and new moments in perfect Ale & Franz style. Tickets available on Ciaotickets and at 101 Caffè (via Madonna del Pozzo, 172). From Thursday, July 17 to Saturday, July 19, the spotlight will be on the XXIII edition of the Multiculturita Summer Festival, on the churchyard of the Basilica. Three great concerts for three unmissable evenings: Thursday 17 July, at 8:30 pm, Francesco Renga in the only Apulian date of the tour “Angelo – Venti”, Friday 18, at 8:30 pm, July Alex Britti in concert with the songs from the album It.Pop and Saturday 19 July, at 8:30 pm, Cristiano De André with “De André canta De André – Best of Estate 2025”. Tickets on Ciaotickets, Ticketone and authorized sales points.
On Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd July, starting at 8pm, the historic centre of Capurso will be transformed into a village of taste and music with Polpette & Beat, the event that brings together flavours, live performances, vinyl DJ sets, workshops, swing dances and street bands. Guests include Contourband, Le Cumbinate, Orecchiette Swing (22nd July), Euroband Marchin' Band, DomiSoul, Hops Bari & Lindy Hop Community (23rd July). On Tuesday 29th July, at 8:30pm, the programme will host the eighth edition of the Performing Arts Festival in the Villa Comunale, organised by Dynamic Lab, with the contribution of the Municipality of Capurso and the patronage of the Puglia Region, the Metropolitan City of Bari, Puglia Culture, Department of Culture, Protection and Development of Cultural Enterprises. This year, the festival will be bringing “Aetherious” to the stage, an immersive experience of contemporary dance, scenic visions and artistic research.
August will be, as always, the month of the Festa Grande in honor of the Madonna del Pozzo, the main protector and patroness of Capurso. On Saturday, August 30, at 9:00 p.m., the coronation of the Madonna del Pozzo will be held by the Corteo Storico association at the Basilica. On Sunday, August 31, two central moments will unfold: the procession of the Sacred Effigy, at 10:30 a.m., and in the evening, at 10:00 p.m., the evocative Corteo Storico with the Triumphal Cart.
Even in September there is no shortage of events. On Monday 1st September, in Piazza Gramsci, at 9:30 pm, the comedy of Uccio De Santis will cheer up the audience, while on Saturday 6th September, at 8 pm, the historical reenactment of the discovery of the fresco of the Madonna del Pozzo will be held at the Chiesa del Pozzo. On Sunday 7th September, again in Piazza Gramsci at 9 pm, the Gemelli di Guidonia performance is scheduled, offered by the Municipality of Capurso. And that's not all: two unmissable events also in Piazza Gramsci are scheduled for 12th and 13th September. On Friday 12th September, at 8 pm, Sirya and Tony Canto present A questo punto… la voglia, la pazzia, a tribute to Ornella Vanoni; followed on Saturday 13 September, at 8:30 pm, by the show Women of the World, with Alba Parietti and Miss Priscilla, curated by Dimensione Danza. Literature also has its space in September with the Libro Parlante – Summer Festival, which celebrates its 15th edition with a series of presentations in the Biblioteca Comunale D'Addosio. Tuesday 2 September, at 7:30 pm, Giorgia Lepore presents “Perhaps this is how you become men”; Thursday 4 September, again at 7:30 pm, Paolo Zupa presents “Conversando con Gilda”; Friday 5 September, at the same time, it will be Maria Laricchia’s turn with “Vivere...e ancora vivere”. The series of meetings ends on Tuesday, September 16, at 7:30 p.m., with the appointment Writers for a Night - “My Life Between the Pages”. Finally, among the most anticipated literary events, the Oscar del Libro scheduled for Monday, September 15, at 8:30 p.m., presented by Manila Gorio with the extraordinary participation of Filippo Rana from the TV show “Le iene”.
Those presented are only the main events of the summer program promoted by the Municipality of Capurso. The complete list of the program is available in the attachment and online at the link: https://www.comune.capurso.bari.it/
