Mc Dowell and Bauer, two legends at Ischia Global Film. Preview of Conspiracy of Fear

Actors Malcolm Mcdowell (A Clockwork Orange) and Steven Bauer (Scarface) will be honored on Saturday, July 12, at the final gala of the Ischia Global Film & Music Festival. A double recognition for the two legendary artists who found themselves together in the film “Conspiracy of Fear,” scheduled for the final evening of the 23rd edition of the international summer film event promoted with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Campania Region. The film is the second feature film from actress, writer and director Kayla Tabish. She plays Alice, a tough reporter who is granted an exclusive interview with Evo (Malcolm McDowell), the CEO of The Company. After World War III, all corporations and conglomerates have merged into one international force. During the conflict, an electromagnetic pulse of enormous power was released, rendering all digital devices completely useless. The Company has not seen fit to restore these technologies. The list of international super stars who will be on the green island for the 23rd edition of the event chaired this year by American director Catherine Hardwicke continues to grow, while following the young people of the classic annual contest between the theaters of Forio and Ischia Puerto, the squares of Lacco Ameno and Casamicciola and the digital platforms mymovies.it and eventi.org will be the Irish director Jim Sheridan.

Also eagerly awaited is the participation of American director Paul Feig who will present 'Another Simple Favor' on Sunday 6 July. Not asking is the English costume designer Crispian Sallis (already nominated for three Oscars) who will be awarded the Ischia Enrico Job Art Award.
