South Park Release Schedule: When Do New Episodes Come Out?

Is there anything South Park hasn’t made fun of yet? In the much-talked-about season 27 opener two weeks ago, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone used their long-running animated series to take shots at the Paramount Network for settling its lawsuit with Donald Trump, place the president in bed with Satan, and then send him spiraling around in the desert with his “teeny, tiny penis” out. Fresh off a new $1.5 billion streaming deal with Paramount, it seems that the adult comedy won’t pull any punches this season.
“It’s always like, ‘So we love the episode … but we’re gonna blur the penis,’ ” Parker told the San Diego Comic-Con audience last week about the network’s response. “And I’m like, ‘No, you’re not gonna blur the penis.’ ”
“We put eyes on the penis,” Stone added, with Parker noting that “if we put eyes on the penis, we won’t blur it. And then that was a whole conversation for about four fucking days.”
For what it’s worth, the eyes on the penis are working. South Park reportedly brought in 5.9 million viewers across Comedy Central and Paramount+ for the season 27 premiere, which garnered the “biggest share of the cable audience for a season premiere episode since 1999,” according to CNN.
In the second episode, South Park continued to spoof the president’s policies, including ICE raids and a scene depicting United States secretary of homeland security Kristi Noem shooting Krypto the Superdog from Superman outside of Mar-a-Lago.
How Can I Watch South Park Season 27?After Parker and Stone’s massive Paramount deal, South Park is no longer streaming on HBO Max.
