Dance, music and gourmet dinners for the Sunset Festival

Dance and musical performances, walks, awards, aperitifs and gourmet dinners are the events that will characterize the days of Thursday 3rd and Friday July 4th of the Sunset Festival, the cultural event which winds between Passignano sul Trasimeno, Magione, Monte del Lake, Montecolognola, San Savino, San Feliciano, Castiglione del Lago Lago, Tuoro and Panicale, scheduled until Sunday 6 July. Among the events scheduled in Panicale the performance artistic "The voice of the soul", a meeting between music and poetry - explain the organizers - which starts from the harmonies of the 50s to get to the present day, with the beautiful words by poet Vittoria Aganoor Pompilij, edited by Hm Voices Vocal Quartet: Francesca Basili, Silvia Carlani, Marida Marabotti and Alessandra Versiglioni. On Friday 4th July at sunset, in San Feliciano there will be an extemporaneous comics exhibition by illustrators and cartoonists with Silvia Alcidi, Anna Baldoni, Francesco Biagini, Moreno Chiacchiera, Claudio Ferracci, Francesco Gaggia, Arturo Lozzi, Alessia Properzi and Aurora Stano. The works created will be destined for a lottery whose proceeds will go to the Foundation "Born to Live". At the gardens of the Pidocchietto area of ​​Passignano sul Trasimeno a "Sunset Bike Ride" will be held. Appointment from 8.30pm to 10.30pm for a 45km excursion organized by the ASD Team Matè. Space for "Dance under the Stars" at the Rocca del Leone in Castiglione del Lago (from 8.15pm to 10pm) where the schools of dance from Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio, will perform bringing different styles to the stage. Two special guests, Valentina Pierini and Raffaele Scicchitano, who will be awarded for their strong commitment to the younger generations of dancers. The artistic director of the cinema and dance section of the Festival is Marcello Zeppi who, always on the same evening and location (from 10.15pm to 11.15pm), also organized the awards ceremony of the third edition of Trasimeno international art film festival and Montecatini international short film festival. Every day of the Festival it is possible to admire two exhibitions at the Medieval Fortress of Passignano sul Trasimeno. The first is dedicated to photography with the theme "Trasimeno at sunset: breathtaking views" and created in collaboration with Hobby Foto Perugia. The other, created in collaboration with Trasimeno environmental services is an art and sustainability exhibition: environment, green tourism, nature and art allied to promote a greener, more creative and responsible future.
