Weekend Exhibitions, From Dante Ferretti to Carole A. Feuerman

(By Marzia Apice) Dante Ferretti, Ahmet Güneştekin e Carole A. Feuerman are among the protagonists of the exhibitions in this first weekend of July. ROME - It arrives at Palazzo Bonaparte, and for the first time in Europe, a great anthology dedicated to Carole A. Feuerman, from title "The voice of the body". Set up from July 5th to 21st September, the exhibition curated by Demetrio Paparoni and organized from Arthemisia, brings together over 50 works, from the early 1900s '70 to the most recent ones, rereading his entire career artistic and documenting the artist's attention to the body intended not only as an object to contemplate but as a story, emotion, living presence. At the National Gallery of Modern Art and Contemporary from July 1st to September 28th is scheduled the personal exhibition by Ahmet Güneştekin entitled "Yoktunuz (You were absent)", edited by Sergio Risaliti and Paola Marino. Universal themes such as exodus, migrations, borders, meaning of community and cultural and religious syncretism animate the works - sculptures, paintings and monumental installations - of the Turkish artist of Kurdish origin, in a journey that tells the history, myths and legends of Anatolian civilizations, Mediterranean and Mesopotamia, from which Ahmet Güneştekin draws inspiration. Until November 15th the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome hosts "Processi 152", curated by Caterina Borelli and Anna Cestelli Guidi. Projects created by the winds on display scholarship holders from heterogeneous disciplinary fields, in residency at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome for the year 2024-2025, in a path aimed at highlighting the connections between the works on display which in turn contaminate each other. GARDONE RIVIERA - At the Vittoriale degli Italiani from 29th June (as part of the Garda festival - A lake in celebration) for the first time "And the ship sails on" arrives in Italy, the Dante exhibition Ferretti, costume and set designer, three-time Oscar winner. Made in collaboration with Il Cigno Arte and curated by Giordano Bruno Guerri and Pietro Di Natale, the exhibition offers to the I publish over 20 sketches in chalk, charcoal and collage of his famous stage designs, from Hawks and Sparrows to Pasolini in Fellini's And the Ship Sails On. PESCARA - From 5th July to 7th September 4 exhibitions set up as part of "Stills of Peace", the twelfth edition of the international exhibition dedicated to art and culture contemporary, organized by the Aria Foundation in Atri and Pescara. This year's theme is Global Future, with Colombia as a guest country. At the Cisterns and Halls of the Palace Acquaviva will host the "Global Future" exhibitions, curated by Giovanna Dello Iacono and Maria Letizia Paiato, with the works of Lorenzo Aceto, Aycoobo, Chiara Calore, Rudy Cremonini, Federica Giulianini, Pietro Moretti, Matteo Montani, Mariangela Levita, Luz Lizarazo, Giovanni Paolo Randazzo Mora, Alejandro Sánchez Suárez, María Alejandra Torres and "Generation from the Light", edited by by Antonio Zimarino and Marta Michelacci with the works of Juan Eugenio Ochoa, Mozzarella Light, Paolo Scirpa, Natalia Triviño Lozano. Scheduled at the slm00 space - zerozerosullivellodelmare the exhibition "Forgotten People", curated by by Paolo Dell'Elce with photographs by Luz Elena Castro, while the collective exhibition "Stills" will be set up at the YAG/Garage in Pescara of Peace for Young", edited by Cecilia Buccioni, Giovanna Dello Iacono and Maria Letizia Paiato, starring Daniele Di Jerome, McManu Espinosa, Martina Marini Mysterious and Lalula You live. SORA - "Dynamics of the Visual Flow" is underway, the cycle of exhibitions anthologies and meetings, curated by Roberta Melasecca, for celebrate the centenary of the birth of Michele Rosa, promoted from the Municipality of Sora, from the Umberto Mastroianni Foundation and from the Pro Loco of Sora and under the high patronage of the Parliament European. Among the main events, from July 4th on display in the spaces of the Museum of the Media Valle del Liri in Sora approximately 40 works by Michele Rosa, while from 5th July at the Umberto Mastroianni Foundation of Arpino the exhibition of over 70 works by Rosa, a complex and significant part of his artistic production made since the 1950s until the first decade of the 2000s.
