A tanker truck suffered an accident and spilled fuel on the South Access
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon near El Cóndor. A major operation was set up to contain the leak of flammable liquid.
A Gulf oil tanker truck carrying fuel spilled part of its cargo on the South Access Road , forcing an operation to contain the leak and prevent further damage.
According to reports, the incident occurred on the Acceso Sur near Adolfo Calle (northbound) and was triggered after the vehicle suffered a tire break and hit the vehicle on one of its sides.

This would have damaged the tank, causing the loss of the flammable liquid onto the road and forcing the rapid intervention of the Volunteer Firefighters of Godoy Cruz and Guaymallén, Civil Defense, Preventers of Guaymallén and the Police to contain the situation.
After a few moments of concern, the incident was brought under control. There were no reports of injuries.
