Regenerative agriculture will also be on the Expoagro agenda

From March 11 to 14, at the San Nicolás fairgrounds and racetrack (Buenos Aires), Expoagro 2025 YPF Agro edition will take place, the annual meeting point where producers, companies, banks, and agricultural startups converge to look ahead, generate business, and strengthen strategic alliances.
As is tradition at Aapresid, the XXXIII edition of its annual Congress will have its official launch on Thursday, March 13 at 12:00 pm. This will take place in the SPS Amphitheater (lot 580), adjacent to the Aapresid stand (lot 590), where some new features about the conferences of this edition will be presented, as well as the new spaces and side events that will be part of the event.

Jorge Macri, Head of Government of the City of Buenos Aires, and Sergio Iraeta, Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, will be present to accompany this event.
Over three decades, the Aapresid Congress has established itself as the most important event on knowledge and technologies in agriculture in our country and a benchmark worldwide. A true network for updating, exchanging and debating the latest advances in regenerative agriculture.
Regarding the institutional agenda, the Regional Program of Aapresid, under “Aula Aapresid” and Syngenta, will carry out on Wednesday 14th, at 2:30 pm, at the institutional stand, the launch of the new contest “Aaprender conectado”. This, proposes inviting schools from all over the country to work collaboratively with members of Aapresid and other institutions, to present research papers related to the basic principles of Direct Seeding Systems (SSD) and their relationship with the environment.
Also on the agenda is the signing of an agreement with the Sociedad Rural de Argentina (SRA) in collaboration with Aapresid Certificaciones (AC), which establishes a strategic alliance to develop strategies that promote certified livestock farming in our country, thus seeking to improve quality and traceability for the sector.
In addition, the AC program will promote a reforestation project in partnership with NATIVAS with the aim of promoting sustainable practices and the regeneration of ecosystems. In conjunction with its Positive Nature initiative, they will work together on a certification that seeks forest restoration and reforestation with native species. In addition to increasing the biodiversity of production systems, producers will be able to access benefits through environmental assets.
On the other hand, on Wednesday, March 12, at 4:00 p.m., a talk on machinery will be held in the Agribusiness Auditorium entitled: “Agricultural machinery: the key is in the workforce.” The speakers in this space will be Guillermo Marrón, Ramón García and Claudio Sánchez, representatives of the institution.
On Thursday at 4:45 p.m., a new episode of the Aapresid streaming will be broadcast live: “Raising the Partridge”. On this occasion, “The taste of quality: the meat produced by Argentines”, will seek to address an approach to each link in the productive chain of Argentine livestock farming. Is it important to know the traceability of what we add to our plate? What is the present and future of the production of meat that is part of the table of most Argentines? To answer these questions, Christian Petersen, Santiago Guazzelli and José Jauregui will be part of the stream.
