The Zaragoza restaurant with a 14.5 euro menu that King Africa fell in love with

King África performed a concert last Friday, October 10th, in Zaragoza. The Estación del Norte gathered some 9,000 people to sing and dance to the sounds of the Argentine artist, along with Boney M Experience, who completed the lineup.

In addition to his performance, Alan Duffy (the singer's real name) was able to enjoy the Aragonese capital and its cuisine. After concluding his packed show, he went to dinner at the Los Porches de Augusta restaurant, located in the Augusta Shopping Center on Avenida de Navarra.

There, he shared a meal with his road manager and the people in charge of Parranda Producciones, a prominent Zaragoza-based concert promoter. "It was a very pleasant dinner; we had a great time and a very good meal. Alan is a lovely person, and we had a very enjoyable few hours," explains José Luis Palomar, from the aforementioned promoter.

Dinner gave rise to anecdotes and a very pleasant conversation: "He told me he's currently living very quietly in Marbella. But above all, he talked to me about Zaragoza. That's why I decided to give him a very special gift. I went to my car, where I usually keep measurements of the Virgin of Pilar, and I gave him the last one I had left. He was very excited," Palomar asserts.

Los Porches de Augusta is an establishment whose gastronomic offering is based on traditional Spanish cuisine. You can choose from their set menus and à la carte. The daily menu costs 14.5 euros , and among the first courses, some examples include meat fideuá with aioli, Augusta salad, scrambled eggs with mushrooms with aioli, and scrambled eggs with mushrooms and asparagus. Main courses include pork loin chops with Roquefort cheese and fried onions, squid rings garnished with salad, and grilled entrecote (with a 3-euro supplement).
