Hurricane Rigoberta Bandini with all her faces kicks off her new tour: the bitch, the busty diva, the profound singer-songwriter and the party girl take to the stage.

After almost three years without stepping on stage, Rigoberta Bandini kicked off her new tour in Seville this Sunday just after midnight at the Icónica Fest held in the Plaza de España. And she went all out. Powerful sound and a superbly crafted show. Through her new double album, Jesucrista Superestar , and her most acclaimed and well-known hits, the artist has shown her thousand and one faces: the bitch, the topless diva , the profound singer-songwriter, the party girl, the dramatic, the hopeful, the in love...
In a highly theatrical show with constant costume and register changes, the singer gave it her all. She dressed as a doll with huge eyelashes, a blonde wig, a yellow plastic trench coat, and red boots , but also as a boxer singing about love , and as a glamorous diva in intense fuchsia. And just like that, she sang her well-known feminist anthem "Ay, Mamá ," with which she competed at the Benidorm Fest in 2022 and which denounces the obsession with covering women's breasts in the public sphere. During this song, Rigoberta and her dancers proudly showed off their breasts . Women to power! The audience went wild.
Fans who hadn't lost sight of Hurricane Rigoberta from the front rows were rewarded. The singer stepped off the stage and began handing out shots to the audience while singing Amore Amore Amore from her new album. Dressed as a boxer, with her gloves dangling from her chest, she also took selfies with the audience and even interviewed some. "I love you!" an excited young man exclaimed. The artist's blonde wig couldn't hold up to all the pressure.
"I've missed you," Rigoberta said, returning with all the strength she'd accumulated during her "time of reflection" away from the stage. The last time she gave a concert was in December 2022. It's been almost three years away from the public, as the singer explained in an interview with La Lectura , the cultural supplement of EL MUNDO.
During the hour and a half that the show lasted, Rigoberta focused on the songs from her new album, but also revisited her most emblematic and well-known hits. The audience went wild with Perra in the final part of the concert. Great music, a display of dancers, choirs , lights, video projections, visual power... What an evolution since the singer's first performance in Seville in August 2021 in the meadow of the Andalusian Center for Contemporary Art. Back then, in the austere concert , the artist got on all fours on stage with her dancers. And little else. This Sunday, you didn't know where to look. Even her husband, Esteban Navarro , who participates in the show , threw himself on the floor like a dog .
"Seville is full of bitches, more than ever. But sometimes I feel like a piece of shit, but other times I feel powerful , capable of anything..." the singer confessed to her audience.
Among the songs that made her famous, long before the Benidorm Fest, is "In Spain we call it soledad ," a smash hit that everyone sang along to on the hot Sevillian night. "If anyone has a scarf or something, please lend it to me, because my voice is getting really bad in the cold," the artist joked. Also playing from her best-known repertoire was "A ver qué pasa ."
The Eurovision fiasco"Don't make us think, make us dance!" a host with a wig and an Italian accent shouted at the singer , constantly calling her "Renata" while giving her a number to "save her." The moment evoked the competitions between artists to appear at international festivals. In fact, Rigoberta Bandini wanted to sing at the Eurovision Song Contest held in Turin, Italy, in 2022, but finished second at the Benidorm Fest, where the candidate to represent Spain was chosen.
A good part of the concert was dedicated to her eagerly awaited second album, which the artist released last March. At the start of the tour in Seville, the new songs were played: JAJAJA , Club xavalas tristes , Simpática pero problema , Vuelaaa , Enamorados , Brindis , Aprenderás , Si muriera mañana and La pulga en el sofá . The song Pamela Anderson , also from Rigoberta's new album, was sung in huge numbers, followed by Soy mayor , Kaimán , Centro de grava permanente and Abraxas . The show started more than an hour late than the announced schedule, but the wait was worth it.
Rigoberta Bandini's tour continues on June 6 in Bilbao, June 7 in Pamplona, June 13 in Mallorca, June 20 in Zaragoza, June 21 in A Coruña, and June 28 in Barcelona. In July, she will be in Madrid, Malaga, Valencia, and Murcia.
