Morena senator's assembly to promote judicial election broken up with chairs (Videos)

MEXICO CITY (apro).- The informational meeting of Morena senator Raúl Morón in Apatzingán, Michoacán, in which he promoted the judicial election on June 1, concluded amid chair-throwing and protests against supporters.
The Morena Parliamentary Group condemned the attacks, which also affected the senator, and urged people not to fall prey to provocations from opposing groups.

"We reiterate our position of not falling prey to the provocations of antagonistic groups, whose actions are aimed at violence without the mediation of dialogue, and we demand that the competent authorities investigate the events," stated the Green Party parliamentary faction.

The event was held at the Villa del Sol Hotel in Apatzingán and was attended by approximately 350 people.
At the end of the event, a group of 40 people, some of them hooded, stormed the venue and began shouting slogans and banners against the former mayor of Uruapan, Ignacio Campos, and Senator Raúl Morón.
The senator reported that, based on these events, he filed a complaint with the Michoacán Attorney General's Office.
